Our Commitment

Kingston Biotechnology Research is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.

Measures Taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • ARIA labels and roles on interactive elements
  • Keyboard navigation support for all interactive components
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios (WCAG AA compliant)
  • Alternative text for all meaningful images
  • Focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion
  • Skip-to-content link for keyboard users

Automated Testing

We use axe-core automated accessibility testing in our CI/CD pipeline to catch common accessibility issues. All pages are tested against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria on every deployment.
